Our services
The partners of 7Cs WorldBridge can, as a team, offer a wide range of
services, geared to the needs of specific sectors and organizations, in
English, French, and Spanish.
We have individually or jointly collaborated with a number of major
development agencies, equipment vendors, regional telecommunication
organizations, and other actors in the development arena (see examples). Moreover, the consultants
have access to nationals of many developing countries with expertise in
the field of ICT, who can be contracted for specific projects, when
needed.
We use participatory development approaches that promote economic,
social, and cultural development and justice, and contribute to the
preservation of the environment. Collectively, the 7Cs have extensive
hands-onexperience in the following fields:
- Information and Communication Policy and Strategy
development
- Feasibility studies
- Project and programme management (including research
projects)
- Project and programme design, technical planning and
implementation, appraisal and evaluation, particularly for the development
of IP and telecom networks (academic networks as well as community networks),
rural telecommunications and various models for development and delivery
of ICT based services (content), such as Multipurpose Community Telecentres
(MCTs)
- Design and implementation of training and education
programmes (capacity building), particularly in the fields of management,
IT, and telecommunications and for the development and operation of
networks and MCTs, including training for development and operation
of ICT services and for management of MCTs
